One to One Training
Sessions

During your home visit we can discuss the need for initial training at a One to One level. Not all dogs and owners need this level of individual tuition but rather it depends very much on individual circumstances and experiences. One
to One training can be very useful for a number of reasons: 1)
if you and your dog are not ready to progress to Group Training. This maybe
because you have had a bad
experience at your local dog club which may have made your dog protective or
make him feel
vulnerable in large groups 2) perhaps your dog missed out on early socialising or
was a rescue dog which typically may have problems around other dogs or people. 3) personal circumstances such as shift work may make it difficult to attend regular classes. 4) to improve techniques which might require a higher level of tuition and assistance than can be given in a a group environment. One to One
training can be carried out on our own premises using our dogs to provide the
necessary distractions as required, or at your own home, local park, woods or
wherever you and your dog need help. We aim to prepare owners and dogs for
follow-on group activities by ensuring that both have the confidence needed to
work happily in a group environment. |
